Gülten Kartal, PhD Student, Anadolu University, Turkey

Gülten Kartal is a PhD student in the Department of Distance Education, Anadolu University. She holds master's degrees in the Department of Distance Education at Anadolu University, and in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies at Sakarya University. She has constantly been working as an educational technologist in several public schools of Ministry of National Education since 2006. Her research interests are cultural issues, presence, and instructional design in open and distance learning.
